It gives me great pleasure to announce the appointment of Jesse Classen as the Principal Educator at the North High School Campus beginning August 2024.
Jesse joined FFCA as a high school teacher in 2006. He has worked as an Associate Principal at the High School and South Middle School Campus. Most recently, he has been Principal Educator at South Middle School Campus since 2021. Jesse holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education specializing in Secondary Physics and Mathematics from the University of Alberta. He has also completed graduate work in Educational Technology from the University of Calgary and has a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Leadership from the University of New Brunswick.
Jesse shares the following thought on taking on this new role: “Leading the learning community at our South Middle School has been an honor and an experience that I will cherish. I want to thank the incredible educators and administrators I was fortunate to work with and learn from, as well as the broader community that welcomed my family with open arms. I am humbled and excited to have the opportunity to join the team at our North High School as Principal Educator. I look forward to forming and building new relationships with the community, working together to support the learning and students in our care.”
