We are pleased to inform you of a new member to the Northwest Elementary Campus for the
2025-2026 school year!
Lorie joined us on May 26, 2000, as a Grade 1 teacher at the
Southeast Elementary Campus. In 2006, she transitioned to
the role of Associate Principal at the Southwest Elementary
Campus. In 2007, she moved to Central Office to take on the
role of Coordinator of Instruction and then moved to the
Southwest Elementary Campus where she has been the
Principal Educator since 2014.
Lorie holds a Bachelor of Education Degree, a Bachelor of Arts
Degree in Education Studies and a Master’s Degree in
Educational Leadership from the University of Calgary.
Lorie shares the following thought on joining FFCA and taking
on this role: “It has been a privilege to work at FFCA for the past
25 years. I appreciate the close family-like community; the
steadfast focus on student growth and success; the
relationships built with students, staff, and families; and the
ongoing professional development and continuous improvement. It has been an honor and
pleasure to have worked with the caring and dedicated staff at the Southwest Elementary Campus,
and I will cherish the memories made there. I am excited about the new opportunity at the
Northwest Elementary Campus and looking forward to working with the staff, students, and
families.”
