With John Deines retiring, we are
excited to announce the new Principal Educator
who will be leading Northeast Elementary Campus
next year!
Jim joined us on August 29, 2005 as a Middle
School Teacher. Over the past 20 years, he has
brought a wealth of experience and dedication to
our community, having taught a variety of grades
across high school and both middle school
campuses. Most recently, Jim served as Associate
Principal at our Northwest Elementary Campus,
following four successful years in the same role at
our North Middle School Campus. Jim holds a
Bachelor of Education degree from Nipissing
University (1998) and a Master of Education in
Curriculum Studies from the University of Toronto
(2005).
Jim shares the following thoughts on joining FFCA and taking on this role: “I am truly
honored and enthusiastic to be joining Erin and the team at FFCA NEE. This opportunity
represents the fulfillment of a long-standing aspiration, and I am deeply grateful for the
many individuals at FFCA who have served as mentors and sources of inspiration
throughout my journey. While I am excited for this new chapter, I will sincerely miss the
incredible team at NWE. Their support and passion have instilled in me a deep love for
elementary education, for which I will always be thankful”
