We are thrilled to share the remarkable performances of two of our very own students, Sophie Dhaliwal and Jeevin Dhaliwal, at the 3A/4A Golf Tournament held recently at River Spirit Golf Course – Cattails and Spirit.
Congratulations to Sophie Dhaliwal, who shot an exceptional score of 72, winning the 3A/4A Women’s City Golf Championship! Sophie advanced to the Alberta Schools High School Golf Provincials, which took place on September 23-24, 2024, in Grande Prairie. Sophie went onto to win the ASAA 3A/4A Women’s Golf Provincials with a two-day total of 142 (69 and 73). Sophie went onto win the Golf Provincials by 6 shots! We are so proud of Sophie’s achievements as she represented NHS with excellence. This is a first in FFCA-NHS history for an individual female golfer to win the Golf Provincials. This is a history-making moment for this incredible leader, student-athlete, and FFCA community member.
We would also like to extend a special congratulations to Jeevin Dhaliwal, who represented NHS with great pride, shooting a fantastic score of 77, just one stroke shy of the provincial qualifier. Well, done, Jeevin, on your outstanding performance!
