2022 Annual Board Election
On behalf of the FFCA community, we're calling on YOU to vote for a representative to serve your community in leadership on FFCA's Board of Directors. Make your vote count between noon on Dec 13 and noon on Dec 14.
Here are the candidate biographies to help you get to know them and decide who will fill a role on the Board of Directors. Under each bio, there is a link to their video profile. A wide range of backgrounds and skills is beneficial in school governance. Ultimately, YOU, our stakeholders, decide.
Directors:
- participate in thoughtful discussions and creative problem-solving,
- gather, explore, and implement constructive ideas and solutions,
- help identify threats, mitigate risks, and discover opportunities for improvement,
- educate, engage, and inspire action from the greater FFCA community and beyond, and
- make valuable contributions to the continued success and longevity of FFCA as a public charter school, helping secure education choices for Alberta parents.
Three of our nine Director positions are elected / re-elected annually. Our annual Election supports board continuity, allows for change, and reduces the risk of board entrenchment, with each elected Director serving a three-year term. Throughout the three-year term, Directors will gain a wealth of knowledge and skills and have the satisfaction of knowing they've left a lasting impact on generations of students to come. FFCA will provide successful candidates with any training, support, and guidance needed for success in the role.
Election Voting: Dec 13, 12:00 pm to Dec 14, 12:00 pm
